In order to be considered for a B-2 Medical Treatment Visa, you must meet the following criteria:

• You must apply for a B-2 tourist visa.

• You must show that this treatment is medically necessary and unavailable in Mexico.

• You must prove that that you can afford to pay for the U.S.A. healthcare.

• You must show the U.S. immigration authorities that you plan a short and temporary visit to the U.S. for necessary medical attention that is unavailable in your home country.

• Financial Means to travel to the USA, stay in the USA for the health care, pay for the health care, and pay to return  are required as a part of the visa process.

• Also, one must show strong connections to one’s home country as part of the visa process.
